Incallert periodically generates sound beeps during phone calls. Use Incallert to make you conscious of your phone calls' minute mark WITHOUT having to look at the phone.
Incallert periodically generates sound beeps (which are normally heard only on your side) during phone calls. Use Incallert to make you conscious of your phone calls' minute mark - at and BEFORE the minute mark - WITHOUT having to look at the phone.
Useful
While active, this program makes a beep sound* at the minute mark and can also make a different beep sound before the minute mark of your call. This feature helps notify you that a new minute cycle is coming soon, useful to control your call lengths by not getting into a new minute and using just a few soconds of the whole new minute that you're charged for - especially for international or other costly calls where the cost per minute is quite high. In cases like this, you would like to set Incallert to warn at and before every minute.
It can also be useful in the case that you don't want to waste too much time on the phone - you can set Incallert to warn you every 5 or 10 minutes.
*NOTE: When an alert is issued, you would hear sound beeps ONLY IF THE PHONE'S CURRENT PROFILE'S "Warning tones" is set to "On", this setting is in your Series 60 phone's "Profile"-> Personalize. You can also change the current profile anytime by pressing the "Power" button briefly. However, the backlight would light up upon alerts regardless of the phone's current profile - this is useful for people who want alerts as backlight only, instead of both backlight and beep sound.
How to use?
Incallert works automatically after install - it would make beep sound alerts in calls right after install. It also auto-starts with the phone: use the Auto-Start option in the settings page to disable/enable this.
In the main tab, press the "Done" softkey to switch Incallert to the backgroud - Incallert would work from the background. On your Series 60 phone, you can press-and-hold the "Applications Button" to see a list of all open applications that are in the background, scroll down to see if Incallert is monitoring in the background.
To stop/deactivate Incallert and exit completely, please select the "Options" softkey and then select "Stop & Exit".
