In Puzzle Bobble, your main aim is to connect bubbles of the same colour in a chain so that when 3 or more consecutive bubbles connect, they burst. The objective is to keep bursting bubbles before they stack and go over your "safety" line, which would end the game. The game is reminiscent of the arcade classic and is very accurate, right down to minor details. However, some elements had to be changed so that they could be viewable on a mobile phone. So far, the game has been highly entertaining, and although is similar to Nokia's 7210's built in game, "Triple Pop", it is much more fun and colourful! It boasts high scores and level rankings. so far, I have not been able to get past level 7 but as each level progresses, more colour bubbles appear, making the game progressively harder. Effects include "screen shakes" as more bubbles appear as well as bubble bursting animations when you complete a chain.Unfortunately for this game, the instructions are a bit scanty at best, consisting of a few lines of text. also, a major flaw I have found is the fact that there is NO in game saving. This means when you exit, you lose all progress and have to restart. I can foresee this might be a problem for many, who want to play a few minutes at a time and want to continue from where they left off. Other than that, this game is pretty much a must have for its cute animations and progressive gameplay. People might eventually get bored of this game but it is a real challenge to beat your highscore.
