CMI Technologies Roaming Guard eX v1.03 S60v3 SymbianOS9.1

Nowadays, one can easily lose control over what is happening inside your smartphone. Loss can be expensive, especially when abroad and using roaming. Current applications often access the internet, by using data connections (GPRS, EDGE or G3) without prior warning or consent of the user, for example, Mail for Exchange, or applications using SyncML. Not every application offers a choice of synchronization methods, such as the newest versions of Mail for Exchange and Ovi Maps. Fees for data connections in roaming can easily reach amounts comparable to a flight ticket.
Save on data roaming charges
Roaming Guard monitors the application access to data connections and, according to selected settings, enables or denies access. Access may be denied for individual items shown in the application's main window, MMS, E-mail, Web, Mail for Exchange, Ovi Maps and Other data. A change of settings, to Never, Roaming, or Always is simply performed by pushing the joystick for the selected item, or by clicking the item.
Roaming Guard is indispensable when traveling abroad, for people who live or work near the border, and in national or regional roaming.
